Meet @anna.karena – she is an intuitive painter in Minneapolis Minnesota at Casket Arts Carriage House – she’s a pretty amazing artist that I’m lucky enough to have met through my studio space!

One of the cool things she does as an intuitive painter is she starts painting without really knowing even what the final piece of art is going to look like. As she goes – she “intuitively” feels out the work and it begins to take shape.

Kinda like the phrase “throw it on the wall and see what sticks” – except with a lot more experience and knowing how to make something stick that speaks to people. It’s actually really cool.

The way she uses colors and textures really makes her work pop off the wall – making for unique artwork people are eating up at art shows and open galleries.

She’s inspired to create because it’s her artistic release and it really brings her life!

Check out her portfolio of intuitive paintings and subscribe to her Instagram page to see more of her work.

One of the things we want to do is film more creative artists in the NE Arts District – specifically our fellow studio artists in the Casket Arts Building and the Casket Arts Carriage House.

So if you are interested in having your studio featured or if you know an artist in NE Minneapolis that has artwork we can interview and showcase – reach out through the link below here.
